Benjamin Déclé
Benjamin Decle is a French designer, born in 1990, he lives and works in Lille. After a first diploma in cabinet making, he moved to the north of France to train in object and space design. He very quickly integrated social design into his practice, which became an obvious choice, having always placed the individual at the center of his projects. After obtaining his diploma in object/social design with honors from the jury at the École
Supérieure d’Art et de Design in Valenciennes, he quickly exhibited his various final year projects internationally: ''Dutch Design Week'' in the Netherlands with ''Fictional Collective'', ''Potentiale'' in Austria with ''Megosu'', ''Please Do So'' in Lille with ''Lille Design'', Paris Design Week, ... In parallel to four years in the development and creation of medical and therapeutic objects for Alzheimer's disease, he works and collaborates with design studios and designers on various projects and creates his first collection of objects. In his research, he devotes a lot of time to experimenting with forms, materials, uses and exploring different production tools. The artisanal and sculptural creations that emerge from his work are the result of different research that gives a singular vision of his approach to design.
