Hispanic Terra Sigillata Cup . Dragendorff 29.

The name of this cup is given by its morphology. In our research to find classic forms found in Asturian sites we discovered that the name terra sigillata refers to a type of Roman tableware, the term Hipanic would refer to its origin in workshops of the Iberian Peninsula, and the Dragendorff classification  comes from the system developed in archaeological studies to identify and categorize standard forms of this ceramic.

This decorative cup has been made with our exclusive Biocastanar® material. A layer of biomaterial made from coffee grounds has been used inside to give it contrast and depth.

The creation process includes hand-molding, which ensures the uniqueness of each piece, followed by prolonged air drying, which gives the material strength and stability. It is then sanded to smooth its surface, and finally a finish is applied with shellac and natural oils, which highlights its earthy colors and guarantees its durability.

Each piece in this collection has a Certificate of Authenticity signed and dated by the artist.
