The MA02 is part of the Les Pierres Noires collection, a series of lighting designs made from wood and marine terrazzo. This collection was co-created by the designers at Ammó and Malàkio, two innovative young companies from Brittany focused on sustainable design. The design highlights the unique materials developed by Malàkio, including the reflective qualities of their shell-based terrazzo, while also celebrating the natural wood's curves and roundness.
Inspired by the ocean, the MA02 evokes nautical elements like lanterns and portholes, with a nod to lighthouses suggested by the handblown glass bulb.
Available in natural oak + oyster shell terrazzo and black + mussel shell terrazzo editions.
