Description
The "ELLE" lamp is designed and crafted by Selah Creative Office. It draws inspiration from the architect's tracing tools, masonry or carpentry rulers, and spirit levels. Its adjustable height allows for subtle user interaction, finding the perfect balance, tilting, or leveling the lamp precisely, regardless of whether the furniture is slanted or not. This concept stems from our architectural practice, where the balance between the object and its context is a central focus.
Designed to be placed in front of a wall, the lamp turns the wall into a diffuser, with both elements working together to create a soft and warm indirect light. The slim base gives the ELLE lamp a podium-like quality: any objects placed underneath or behind it become highlighted by the light, as if on display, even if they are everyday items.
Limited to 12 pieces, each one is numbered and signed (engraved on the underside) by hand. Custom orders available upon request.
