Le Totem

The essence of a simple, assertive form comes through in this sculptural stool. Precise yet visually light, it balances structural rigor with refined minimalism: geometric voids animate the sides while a softly rounded seat adds comfort. The piece slips naturally into any setting—from pared-back interiors to raw, textured spaces.

Conceived as a flat-pack, the stool is built from interlocking wood components assembled without screws or glue: two slotted side panels and a notched central spine.

Each of these three structural elements acts as a leg—and each leg is sculpted like a different totem, giving the piece three distinct vertical figures and a subtle, totemic rhythm. A flush tenon locks the seat in place, creating an intelligent tensioned fit that underscores craft clarity and ensures durable, intuitive construction.
