With its sculptural form and varied heights, the Conversation Pit tray pays homage to this iconic yet often overlooked piece of modern design. This oak wood tray, the first wooden piece in the Muée Objects collection, features our signature compartments and the same dedication to local, sustainable craftsmanship. Handcrafted in a family-run workshop in the Jura region, it’s made of solid oak, giving it a heavy, enduring presence. The main compartment is perfectly sized for the Indécis pot, creating a conversation between wood and ceramic. It can also hold a candle, a vase, or other decorative objects. The tray’s two smaller compartments are ideal for items like jewelry or matches.
Each piece, crafted by hand, may have slight variations in color or texture, showcasing the unique, artisanal touch that makes it truly one of a kind.
