Vernaculaire Shelf

Belonging to a group called Les Vernaculaires, the frame shapes of these pieces are inspired by traditional regional furniture from Savoie and the Western Alps. This formal design language has largely been abandoned in favor of mass-produced industrial furniture from large chains. I revive these forgotten and sidelined forms using a contemporary vocabulary.
