Biocastanar®
An exclusive biomaterial made from chestnut shells collected from the marron glacé industry and natural binders, designed and manufactured in our facilities in Asturias. The result is a 100% biodegradable, sustainable and circular material. It is worked by hand, like clay, then cured in the air for long periods of time. Once dry, its properties are more similar to wood, allowing us to improve the finish with oils and surface sanding.

This bowl has been made with Biocastanar® and stands out for its textured surface that is visible but soft to the touch, and an interior that provides a warm and sophisticated contrast thanks to the use of a thin layer of coffee biomaterial.

The manufacturing process includes hand sanding and a final finish with shellac that enhances its texture, color and shine, as well as guaranteeing its durability.

Each piece in this collection has a Certificate of Authenticity signed and dated by the artist.
